We recommend using naturally durable sleepers around busy areas or where people may sit or step directly on the sleepers, as these timbers do not require any chemical preservation treatments.
We advise against the use of preservation treated sleepers, where physical contact with people may occur – e.g. sitting or leaning against. Marking to clothes, may occur due to preservation treatment possibly coming to the surface when high temperatures present, until the sleeper naturally weathers.
