Luijten Landscapes – Pergola Design
For the Luijten Landscapes project, our premium extra length UK Oak Sleepers were used to create an impressive pergola and inviting outdoor space.
Our UK Oak Sleepers have a very authentic look and feel that age gracefully over time, while also being extremely durable.
Where possible, we work to reduce freight by keeping sourced timbers close to where they have been reclaimed. As this project was in the Karaka area in Auckland, we were able to reduce our travel carbon emissions with one of our eight storage locations just down the road in Papakura.
You’d think that finding such unique timber and actually getting it to site would be impossible. But with Matthew and his Interlink team, everything is easy. And that means you can provide something really special for your clients, delivering something much more boutique than off-the-shelf.
We had the opportunity to use Interlink for a unique landscaping project constructing a unique arbour at a residential property in Bombay. The reclaimed UK Oak Sleepers provided a solid and durable structure with a true rustic feel, and the clients loved the idea of supporting sustainability by repurposing such beautiful, aged timber. The finished result was a beautiful space and very happy clients.
