Using recycled timbers to craft pergolas and other vertical designs is becoming increasingly popular, with these big, rustic timbers providing a certain grandeur and solidness that conventional timbers can’t convey.

Recycled, rustic timbers have the added benefit of being seasoned (dry), which means they don’t move and buckle like newly sawn timber is prone to doing (unless pre-stacked, dried and additional fasteners used).
