Queenstown Residentials, by Nathan Greenwood
This project is a tremendous example of workmanship and perseverance by contractor Nathan Greenwood. Using three variations of sleepers, Nathan took hundreds of beams and utilised them in an artistic and creative way throughout this project.
As requested by the clients, this build ‘used reclaimed timbers’ at the centre of the design, transforming a typical back garden area with rising slopes into a terraced timber masterpiece of walls, feature walls, seats, edging, steps and more. Creating elegant living areas for parking, utilities, entertainment, gardens and petanque, this is an extremely well-designed and even better constructed project.
This Queenstown project used approximately 120 large, reclaimed timber beams. All natural, durable, and with no added chemicals, these recycled timbers are a great example of building for a better environment by giving old beams a new life.
We have used Interlink on several projects in Queenstown, designing and creating some beautiful layouts with their rare, recycled natural timber. You just can’t replicate the effect of time on naturally aged timber. Interlink was very enjoyable to work with, keep up the good work.
